Your checkup will include digital X-rays (if necessary), an oral cancer screening, bite assessment, and tooth-by-tooth exam. A hygienist will also clean the plaque and debris from your teeth, then polish them to a silky, shiny finish. Our intraoral camera will give Dr. Silva a close look at areas of your mouth that are hard to see, and X-rays allow her to investigate the internal structures of your teeth and jaws. If you suffer from snoring or sleep apnea, Dr. Silva has therapy available that will give you a good night's sleep, and with TMJ therapy, she can often alleviate headaches and teeth grinding.
