Dr. Silva places only all-ceramic or porcelain-fused-to-metal crowns, so your smile will contain no visible metal.
To place a dental crown takes two visits. At your first appointment, Dr. Silva will prepare your tooth for the crown, then take a dental impression. Our laboratory will create your custom crown to fit snugly atop the damaged tooth. Fine dental ceramic makes crowns natural looking and durable. While the lab is fabricating your crown, you'll wear a temporary to protect your prepared tooth. At your follow-up visit. Dr. Silva will remove the temporary and permanently attach the final crown. Before you leave the office, she'll adjust the crown to fit well with your bite.
