Meet The Team

Karen, Office Manager

As our office manager, Karen is not only a liaison between our different departments—she’s also in charge of keeping our office running like a well-oiled machine. In fact, she’s been doing this kind of work for 14 years. A member of our team since 2011, Karen loves being part of such a closely knit group and appreciates everyone’s deep commitment to creating beautiful, healthy smiles. Like Dr. Silva, she’s a strong believer in continuing education. As Anthony J. D’Angelo, found of Collegiate EmPowerment, says, “Develop a passion for learning. If you do, you will never cease to grow!”

Sheryl, Public Relations Coordinator

As our public relations coordinator, you might say Sheryl is the public face of Advanced Dental. With 16 years of experience under her belt and her knowledge of marketing, she’s the perfect person to help us strengthen our relationship with the Collegeville community. What’s more, her love for people and desire to serve others make her a treasured part of our team. Away from the office, Sheryl volunteers at her church as a youth leader and a Sunday school teacher, and she also volunteers her time to other charitable projects and service in the community.

“People rarely succeed unless they have fun in what they are doing.”

Ellen, Dental Assistant

With more than 15 years of experience in the dental industry, Ellen knows how to work with dentists to create healthy smiles for patients. And that’s exactly what she’s been doing at our office since joining our team in 2011, because providing quality care is part of what she loves most about working us. But just as important to her are the people she works with. She feels blessed to be part of such a friendly team. In her spare time, Ellen volunteers in her community and with her church.

“To err is human; to forgive, divine.”

Mia, Dental Hygienist

Hello, my name is Mia and I am the Dental Hygienist here at Advanced Dentistry of Collegeville. I graduated from the hygiene program at Montgomery County Community College in May 2009. Prior to becoming a Registered Dental Hygienist, I was a dental assistant for 10 years. I truly enjoy working in the dental field -- it is so rewarding to contribute to the good dental health of my patients.

In my free time I enjoy going to the gym, and spending time with my family and friends, especially my two young nieces. I am also very involved in the community, and am part of the committee for the Make-A-Wish Foundation. I'm looking forward to meeting you in the near future!

Call Dr. Silva to learn how Invisalign will benefit your smile. We are located in Collegeville, convenient to Schwenksville, Trappe, Philadelphia, and Phoenixville.
