Karen, Office Manager
As our office manager, Karen is not only a liaison between our different departments—she’s also in charge of keeping our office running like a well-oiled machine. In fact, she’s been doing this kind of work for 14 years. A member of our team since 2011, Karen loves being part of such a closely knit group and appreciates everyone’s deep commitment to creating beautiful, healthy smiles. Like Dr. Silva, she’s a strong believer in continuing education. As Anthony J. D’Angelo, found of Collegiate EmPowerment, says, “Develop a passion for learning. Mia, Dental Hygienist
Hello, my name is Mia and I am the Dental Hygienist here at Advanced Dentistry of Collegeville. I graduated from the hygiene program at Montgomery County Community College in May 2009. Prior to becoming a Registered Dental Hygienist, I was a dental assistant for 10 years. I truly enjoy working in the dental field -- it is so rewarding to contribute to the good dental health of my patients.
In my free time I enjoy going to the gym, and spending time with my family and friends, especially my two young nieces. I am also very involved in the community, and am part of the committee for the Make-A-Wish Foundation. I'm looking forward to meeting you in the near future!
Jessica, Expanded Function Dental Assistant
Hi, I’m Jessica and I’ve been an expanded function dental assistant with Dr. Silva since 2011, and for four years before that with another practice. I studied at Montgomery County Community College, and I earned my EFDA license from All State Career. What I love more than anything is helping the rest of this great team deliver care our patients will remember. I am the proud parent of one son, and I also love animals. We have 3 Boston Terriers, 2 goats, 15 chickens, and thousands of honeybees. I’m also an active member of the Montgomery County Beekeeper Association.
Jennifer, Production Office Manager
My name is Jennifer, and my responsibilities as production office manager are to pay close attention to our day-to-day activities, in addition to seeing to our patient schedule. Before entering the dental industry more than seven years ago, I earned a BS in Business Management. Like the rest of our team, I’m dedicated to building relationships with all our patients and helping them learn about their own smile. Building strong relationships is an important part of earning your trust so that you’ll come back and see us when it’s time for your next regular checkup.
