Meet The Team
Mia: Hello, my name is Mia and I am the Dental Hygienist here at Advanced Dentistry of Collegeville. I graduated from the hygiene program at Montgomery County Community College in May 2009. Prior to becoming a Registered Dental Hygienist, I was a dental assistant for 10 years. I truly enjoy working in the dental field -- it is so rewarding to contribute to the good dental health of my patients.
In my free time I enjoy going to the gym, and spending time with my family and friends, especially my two young nieces. I am also very involved in the community, and am part of the committee for the Make-A-Wish Foundation. I'm looking forward to meeting you in the near future!
Phil: Hello! My name is Phil, and I'm the Office Manager of Advanced Dentistry of Collegeville. I have been working with Dr. Silva for over two years now, and have been the Office Manager of her office since June of 2009. I graduated from Temple University in the summer of 2004 with a BA in journalism. The dental field is a far cry from my degree, but I have found my position extremely rewarding in so many aspects. Nothing makes me happier than to see a patient rejuvenate their smile and to become happier and more confident because of it.
In the office, it is my responsibility to make sure things run smoothly, on time, and to answer any questions regarding procedures, insurance, or finances. Outside of the office I enjoy volunteering, running, freelancing, and reality TV. I currently live in Center City, Philadelphia with my awesome dachshund, Mr. Pickles.
